This article deals with the subject of Psalm 2 and Erano's objections that he raises.
Let's look at what Psalm 2 is speaking about:
"Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire[a]
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron[b];
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him."
The context refers to King David historically and refers to Jesus messianicly and our putting out trust in him. Let's look at the points now made by Erano.
"Why is it written in Revelation 12:5?
“And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.”– What does this mean?
Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
Psalm 2:1 (NIV)
A time of trouble and unrest- we can now see through TV and Internet how these events are taking place in our time. This is no longer Jesus nor Solomon as this prophecy speaks of our present modern era where people can now see in real time- how leaders of the world gather.
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together
against the LORD and against his Anointed One.
“Let us break their chains,” they say, “and throw off their fetters.”
Psalm 2:2-3 (NIV)
This is what the religions are doing now. This exposition shows that God has given Maestro Evangelista such great authority (as His prophet like Moses) to speak in His Name. The leaders of the religions and their allies will try to go against and resist the revelations that Maestro Evangelista demonstrates to the people of the world."
The context refers to David's enemies plotting and conspiring against him in order to try and destroy him and has a future application with the world at large coming against Jesus and even in his day he certainly had the Pharisaical leaders to contend with.
They do not speak of a prophet from the Philippines who brings a supposed message and is rejected by the Judeo-Christian faiths and the Islamic Faith and they will try to fight against him.
"What will God say?
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath,
saying, “I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.”
Psalm 2:4-6 (NIV)
“The One enthroned in heaven laughs” – No matter what they devise against Maestro Evangelista, God will just put them to shame as these revelations were not out of Maestro’s research but from God. Maestro Evangelista just proclaims what God had commanded him to say. It is God that they are defying and not Maestro Evangelista!
“Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath” – This is what those preachers are now experiencing. The more they go against these revelations the more they show to the whole world that they were not sent by God and that they had deceived humanity about God and Jesus for a very long time.
Add to it the great disasters that God is making them experience. The Churches and houses of worship that are being destroyed in the natural calamities is proof that God is not with them!
“I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.”- Because Maestro Evangelista had accomplished what the previous descendants of David, (Solomon and Jesus) had failed to do. Therefore, the reward of being a King or a leader is now bestowed by God upon him. Not just in Israel but upon all nations of the world as he is the prophet of God to the nations!"
God is laughing against David's enemies and the enemies of the Messianic king and anyone objecting to the prophetic credentials, it is a biblical mandate to test prophets, it is not an option for a Christian to test them. See my points on Deuteronomy 13 responding to Erano:

The great disasters happen for various reasons but were introduced as a result of the fall of man, not something that happened because the destruction of Churches wouldn't prove that a church is necessarily apostate and far from God. A true church and a false church would have their places of worshipped destroyed for various reasons, either due to persecution for Christ's sake or are subject to judgement, it depends on the church and what they teach.
The New Zion is not established in the Philippines or any nation, which Erano goes on to claim but the holy hill is ZION IN JERUSALEM IN ISRAEL. Erano has done and proven nothing to have accomplished anything that Jesus and Solomon failed to do, because there isn't anything that Erano has done and Jesus didn't fail at all.
"“Zion, my holy hill”- This is now the Philippines, as this is where God’s prophet comes from. The Philippines will now be called the NEW JERUSALEM as it is from this nation that God’s true Name was known by the whole world. (2 Kings 21:7,Revelation 3:12, Isaiah 24:14-15, 30:27)
What important title is now bestowed by God upon Maestro Evangelista?
I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me,
“You are my Son; today I have become your Father.
Psalm 2:7 (NIV)
“You are my Son” – the symbolic anointing of Maestro Evangelista as the modern day spokesman for God. The reward or title that Solomon and Jesus had failed to attain is now given by God to him as his reward. The proof of his accomplishment are all the revelations that you have read in this website including this article as Maestro Evangelista faithfully revealed what God commanded him to show through the Bible.
This is why in Revelation 12:5 we can read that “her child was snatched up to God and to his throne”- because the prophet like Moses (who is also the symbolical child) was unlike Solomon and Jesus (who had known that they are God’s chosen ones even when they are young) and will be given the title Son of God if any of them had accomplished the mission of making known the Name of God. In the case of Teacher Evangelista, though a former Christian, was suddenly called by God to be His prophet like Moses and was directly taught by God about His real Name and true teachings in the scriptures!"
The context of Psalm 2 again deals with David and Jesus, NOT Erano. His revelations are not revelations and he hasn't demonstrated that he is a prophet of God and has merely claimed to be such. If he claims to be a former Christian, then Erano is a false teacher who should be avoided like the plague and exposed. Anyone who turns away from Jesus will be lost, including Erano.
Revelation 12 refers to Jesus, NOT to Erano and the context has nothing to do with Deuteronomy 18 and the prophet like Moses. Jesus is the child in Revelation 12 who is being attacked by Satan.
"Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
Psalm 2:8 (NIV)
Maestro Evangelista will show all of humanity through God’s word in the scriptures how we can make our world a better place to live in for all generations to come.
What will he do to the religions and churches who had propagated the teachings of Satan?
You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
Psalm 2:9 (NIV)
They will be no more, and what is God's advice to all?
Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.
Psalm 2:10 (NIV)
Kings, world leaders, lawmakers and judges of nations should consult with Maestro Evangelista to hear and learn the real "Word" and Commandments of God. How can they be regarded as true and righteous leaders if their knowledge of God is based on the teachings of religions who preach the deception of Satan in leading away the people from righteousness?"
David in Psalm 2 is given power to rule against the nations and will not be overcome by his enemies for God is with him and Jesus is given power to do the same by The Father in heaven. Both will be powerful rulers who will not be opposed. There is nothing about a prophet from the Philippines who brings a message that the nations will be forced to listen to.
Erano's abuse of Proverbs 9:10 is addressed here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/yhwh-returns-response-to-maestro-m_11.html
Proverbs 4:7 is also addressed here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/response-to-erano-on-isaiah-64.html
"Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Psalm 2:12 (NIV)
“Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” – They are the people who follow God’s command in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 to listen to His prophet like Moses, who is none other than Maestro EraƱo Martin Evangelista.
“Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way”- why this advice?
What did God say before?
I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.
Deuteronomy 18:18-19 (NIV)
God said in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 that He will CALL INTO ACCOUNT those who choose not to listen to His words that His prophet like Moses speaks in His Name. This is why we are in fear of what Maestro Evangelista says, because he does not speak on his own but only according to what God has put in his mouth that he shows us through the scriptures."
Submission to the King of Israel and the Messianic King is called for in the context of the chapter and those who don't will be destroyed. It is referring to them, NOT Erano and I have already addressed Deuteronomy 18 and it's abuse by Erano:

http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/how-erano-evangelista-deceived-humanity.html
That's it for Psalm 2 and I hope I have addressed the objections.
Answering Judaism.
Excuse me, if this is a bit off topic. I agree with your statement that this psalm concerns David, but where do you see Jesus here?
ReplyDeleteI'll need to write another article on that if the Lord Wills. However, Your question is not off topic, it's bang on topic.
